The survey was conducted on Friday 22 February 2002 at the Peterborough District Hospital. Members of the North West Anglia Community Health Council and Patients Forum interviewed 50 members of the public selected at random. The survey and results are provided below.

The community Health Council is carrying out this consultation to help your Hospital Trust to get as many people as possible involved in the planning process of future health services. This Survey lays out all the options proposed in the 'Greater Peterborough health Investment Plan' and we would be very greatful for your opinion on which of these options you feel would be of most benefit to you, your family and friends.

There are three Options for the future of Hospital Care in the Greater Peterborough Health Investment Plan. These are:-

   Have a single Hospital based at the District Hospital.

   Have a single Hospital based at Edith Cavell Hospital.

   Do nothing, this also includes doing nothing about the new health care centres.
