Tenders presented to the Trust Boards The two consortia bidding for the opportunity to design, build, fund and maintain Peterborough's new health care facilities have presented their proposals to the boards of directors of the three NHS partners. The board members were taken on a virtual tour of the proposed facilities and heard about both consortium's plans for the provision of FM services such as catering, cleaning and portering.
There was also an opportunity to look at the displays and models that will form the centre piece of the public and staff exhibitions on the 16, 22 and 23 November 2004.
Both consortia's proposals were well received by the board members.
There was a general consensus that both had worked very hard and
responded well to the Trusts' requirements. Project Director St Clair
Armitage said, "I wish to thank the bidders on behalf of the trust
boards for the effort they have put into developing their tender
submissions. The high quality of the submission will make the task of
evaluating the bids very difficult, but will also ensure patients get
the very best facilities." |
