Local School Children Help Design
the New Hospital
School children from all over the Peterborough area have been
telling the Trust's planners how they would like the new hospital to
look. A competition organised by Sara Amiss, Children's Fund Lead at
the City Council drew over 600 entries.
The winning entry came from Humza Mobasher of Beeches School who
has won a day out at Wicksteed Park for the whole class.
The winning entry includes a roller coaster on the roof of the
hospital to keep the younger patients entertained.
The Winning Entry

The children were also asked what facilities they would like to
see provided. Among the most popular requests were a Play Station
games console, swings, books to read and somewhere to play ball games.
The information and a selection of the pictures will be included
in the 'Good Design Scrapbook' a document providing guidance to the
architects who will be designing the new facilities.
