Staff Design Exhibition NHS staff in Peterborough have taken the opportunity to see the design proposals of the two bidders competing for the project to provide the new hospital, mental health unit and integrated care centre.
Almost 400 staff visited the two exhibitions at ECH. They met with the architects and health planners working for the two bidders and were able to feedback their reactions and views on the proposed designs.
Project Director, St Clair Armitage commented, "The event was very successful and generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst our staff. They clearly appreciated the opportunity to see how our healthcare facilities could look in the future and to be able to pass on their own views to our bidders." The staff
exhibitions were open from 8am to 8pm. The displays covered the design
proposals for the three new facilities; the hospital and mental health
unit on the ECH site and the integrated care centre on the Fenland
Wing site. |
