Exhibitions give an insight into the Bidders' design proposals Local NHS staff and the public are are taking the opportunity to see and comment on the design proposals of the two Bidders at exhibitions being held today and tomorrow. The exhibitions in the main entrances of the Peterborough District Hospital and the Edith Cavell Hospital are attracting a lot of interest.
On the first day an estimated 500 people viewed the two exhibitions. Many of the visitors and staff completed a questionnaire giving their views on the proposals. These will be used during the formal evaluation process to help decide how well the designs meet the needs of patients and staff.Project Clinician, Angela Broekhuizen, said, "The exhibitions are proving to be very successful. We are getting some very useful feedback on a whole range of subjects that will help us develop our ideas in the future."Although the exhibitions will end on the 23 November 2004. The project team are available to make presentations on the design proposlas to local groups and societies. These can be arranged through the Project Office Manager, Mandy Richardson by calling 01733 875977. |
