General

This site has been designed to be viewed by the majority of web browsers. The site does not use frames, Java, Java scripts or cookies. The site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 4 or above and at a screen resolution of 800 by 600 or higher. You can use Netscape but some table alignments and formatting will not display correctly.  

PDF Documents

Some documents are provided in Adobe portable document format (pdf). You need to have the Adobe reader software installed on your computer to view these documents. This can be downloaded and installed free of charge from the link below. 

If you have difficulty opening a pdf document try clicking on the link with the right button on your mouse and choose the 'Save Target As...' option. Choose a suitable location on your computer to save the document. Then start Acrobat Reader and open the document. This method will generally save you time and allow you to read the document without being connected to the internet.

Search Tips

To search the site enter a single word or phrase. You can force a phrase only search by enclosing the search text with double quotes, e.g. "emergency services". 

You can also exclude words from the search by using the minus sign, e.g. +emergency +services -hospital.

The search engine cannot search inside pdf files only the file name.

Any link to an external site or pdf document will open in a new window. This will ensure you do not have to navigate back to this site.
